The final project was based upon a still life located in the drawing studio.  We had seen the still life on day 2 of the class when we made (in my case at least) feeble attempts to draw the objects using a Conte crayon.  On Wednesday, July 14th, we were to pick a spot in front of either of the two still lifes and this is the spot we would occupy until the completed drawing was submitted at 9:45 PM on July 28th.

Wednesday and Thursday (14th and 15th) were practice sessions to lay out the objects that we would draw.  We were practicing on an 18" x 12" image area that we could orient as either portrait or landscape.  Once the practice had ended, we were to transfer the layout to a 30" x 20" board that would accommodate the final drawing project.  The image area was to be filled in entirely and the drawing was to be life size.

The pages will step through the final days of the class, showing the drawing and the progress towards the final outcome.
