| In just our second day of class, we sat in front of the still life and were told to draw what we saw. So, we set out with our Conte crayons, which most -- if not all -- had never used before. Ultimately, what we would produce will be in stark contrast to our final results. I put a sample photo of the still life next to this attempt, just to give an idea of what we were drawing. The photo is not the section I was drawing with the crayon on this night, but is just so you can see what the still life was like. | |
