outside assignment, to draw the hand in five different positions, two of
which are holding some object.
The exercise is to draw a cross contour line drawing that shows where the tone of the image would change. We spent many of our early exercises considering where the shading would occur in a drawing but not actually filling it in. The term "value" is used to refer to the shading of objects in a pencil drawing. |
