Bootleg Films

These movies are not copies that I made myself.  They were purchased from video "clubs" and are films that are not available in this country, in commercial form.  At least they were not available at the time of purchase.  This typically makes them not subject to U.S. Copyright laws.  These video clubs do pull films from their listings when a film is released in the U.S.  I typically end up buying the commercial version when it becomes available as the quality is superior to the bootleg version, as you might expect.  I'm not proud of the practice of buying bootleg videos, but it does afford one the opportunity to see a film they might not otherwise see.
