Again, 13 hours of drawing brings me to the end of Monday and 60 total drawing hours.  This picture shows the entire canvas area.  I haven't mentioned it yet, but sitting on those drawing benches really hurts after a while.  Your butt hurts so badly that the drawing process has become not only tedious, wearisome on the eyes and all but it is actually painful.

When you go to your car and sit down, you feel as though you have died and gone to heaven.

On Monday night, I was supposed to have joined a group of friends in Milwaukee to see the Cubs play the Brewers.  It's a bus trip that is organized by a friend and I had been looking forward to it for a few months.  I'm a Pirates fan, myself, but I like baseball and it promised to be a good outing.  However, while they were in Milwaukee wondering if I had my priorities straight, guess where I was?  I still have the ticket in my wallet.

Aside from taking the prior Friday off from work, I took Monday off as well.  The problem at this point was that I did not feel I had enough time remaining to finish the drawing if I came in for Tuesday night and the regular Wednesday class session.  I estimated I would need about 12 more hours at this point.
