For the masters, we were to find works of master artists and attempt to re-create their drawings using the same medium and same size as the original artist.  We were not permitted to submit more than two works from any one master artist and we were to submit one drawing in each of the following mediums: pen, pencil, crayon, brush and ink, ink wash (ink diluted with water), charcoal.

In addition, we were to submit two additional drawings using any of the above media.  Media could also be mixed.  The total of master work items was eight in all.

The table below includes my submissions:

Louis Bertin - Jean-Auguste-Dominiqe Ingres - pencil
Madame Michel Musson with her Two Daughters - Edgar Degas - pencil and brown and grey wash
Portrait of Elaine - Willem De Kooning - pencil
Thetis Dipping the Infant Achilles Into the Waters of the Styx - Donato Creti - pen and ink
